Learning outcome 3(U20): Be able to produce the planned media components  M3(U20): Explain how the created media components comply with the codes and conventions of the media sector - How the components have utilised understanding of research undertaken on real media products(U20:M3) Codes are systems of signs, which create meaning. Codes can be divided into two categories, technical and symbolic. Technical codes are all the ways in which equipment is used to tell the story in a media text, for example the camera work in a film. Symbolic codes show what is behind of the scenes of what we see. Conventions is how things are commonly done in a media sector, this can be habits or long accepted ways of doing these things. Through repeated experience the audience can familiarise themselves with these conventions, there for these conventions have almost turned into what the audience expect to see. Learning outcome 3: (U20): Be able to produce the planned media components Bellow you can see the final products that we have created. All the pre-production documents helped us put these products together in an efficient and productive way. With these products we where able to target the audience that brief had asked us too as well as the secondary audience. Magazine cover  Video advert  Billboard advert Mock ups: These mock ups enable us to see how our final magazine and billboard posters would fit in when being put to its use. This helps us see if everything is proportionate and visible in its shape and size. AUDIENCE FEEDBACK: This feedback was gathered from two different people of our target audience. This is because the drinks company require and advertising campaign for their new drink “Phizzwizzard”, which tastes of strawberry laces. I will be proposing a plan for a cross media advertising campaign for Carter Soft Drinks based on this new drink that they want to release.  Purpose The purpose of a cross media campaign and this one in particular product is to get it seen by as many people as possible.
